Real Life Haunting

I was surfing the web and found an article that caught my attention. It was about a murder that happened in 1983 in Chino Hills, California. While a family slept, a man entered their home and slaughtered the Ryen family; Douglas and Peggy Ryen, their 10-year-old daughter, Jessica,and 11-year-old house guest Christopher Hughes. The only survivor of this massacre was Joshua Ryen, 8 years of age. The young boy laid next to his dead mother for 11 hours while holding 4 fingers in his slashed throat to stop the bleeding, waiting for help since he couldn't move.
